You can even browse and send animated GIFs directly in the Messages app on iPhone and iPad, where you can find the right animated GIF, send it to yourself, save the picture message to your Mac, and then use it as a screen saver. You can find one and save it online, you can create your own animated GIFs, you can convert videos to animated GIFs with GifBrewery or a simple Drop to Gif tool, you can send Live photos as an animated gif to yourself and use it, or you can convert Live to an animated gif of a photo with the iPhone app. You can find animated gifs on almost any network. It’s up to you how you want to access the animated GIF file you want to use as a screen saver (more on that in an instant).
